I'm an on-location photographer based in NW Pennsylvania. I specialize in lifestyle portraiture using natural light.  I prefer focusing on candid moments that capture a person's true essence. Eyes speak to me...they really are the windows to the soul.

 

As a happy optimist, who always has a smile for everyone, I have the ability to see the best in people and I try to portray that with my images.  I strive to make sure my clients have a fun, relaxed experience.  I believe in the power of positive thinking and I definitely put that to use with every session I take on.

As for my love of photography, it began as a small child, with the images themselves.  A very special lady in my life (my Aunt Elinor) had a cedar chest full of old family photographs.  Each time we would visit, I would ask if I could read her pictures.  Yes, I really used the word "read".  Appropriate, since every picture should tell a story.  I would literally spend hours getting lost in those photographs, creating my own stories for each one.  Because my aunt always called me "Sweet Pea", I have included a Sweet Pea gallery (which will be comprised of children/baby images) to honor her memory.  I will be forever grateful to that amazing lady for inspiring my passion for telling stories through my own lens.

 

In my free time, when I'm not busy with my passion, you could probably find me spending time with my family...which includes my amazing hubby, three awesome children (all grown), a wonderful daughter-in-law, and five wonderful grandkiddos.  You'll see a lot of their images on here.  I also enjoy hiking, cycling, yoga, reading, writing, cooking, and traveling.  I truly am focused on life...in more ways than one.
